Sehweil OS runs locally on your home without ever connecting to any of Sehweil Servers except for a json file that has the firmware version and the open source dockers software version. Sehweil vision is clear from the born of the company to never make profit out of selling any of the customers data nor collecting for any other reason, this philosophy will always be adapted and will not change, there will be a python service to install the updates on the file system the service DOES NOT collect or read any of the user's, the service make sure that the files in the system are up to date so that you are not left behind for our future features and security updates. If you decide to use your own DNS server instead of Sehweil HuB configured cloudflare DNS tunnel you will not receive updates at this time with high priority to add that feature for custom DNS in near future.
